“ If you ever make it to Queens and are looking for delicious Filipino cuisine you have to stop by Kusina Pinoy Bistro. Not far from the 7 subway line it’s super quick to walk to the restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly staff that seated us immediately. Once we placed the order there was definitely not a long wait. Which was great because we were so hungry. The food definitely did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. What great flavors. Also a wonderful thing is that they serve family style so you get to try an everything ordered. We even had room for dessert. Thank you again to the wonderful staff and chef for making the trip from NJ worth while. * Love the casual feel of the restaurant. Looked like if you came at the right time later in the night they would offer karaoke. Fun! ”

“ We came here couple of times. Love philippino food. Great live music. The food is ok, I've tried better. But overall service is great, food tasty, atmosphere party. Try the sisig and bulalo. I also like the fried squid, but not every time it was the same. Come for great live music experience. ”

“ Very good Filipino restaurant in Queens! Come here if you are craving authentic Filipino food. Location: It is located along Roosevelt avenue. The interior is typical Filipino restaurant, lot of seating but might get hectic maybe during dinner. Street parking available. Service: the staff and owner were nice, they are very attentive and give us recommendations. Food: The food was good! Very authentic Filipino food, feels like home. CALAMARES GIGANTES: a must! The calamares is big and the presentation was spot on! The outer layer was crispy and the calamares were soft and not rubbery. PORK SISIG: very crispy and cooked well! Wish there was raw egg tho but still good. INIHAW NA LIEMPO: so tender and marinated well. Dip that pork on the sauce and it tastes so good! BEEF BULALO: this is a must! The beef is tender and the soup is soo good!!! Omg huge serving too!! Best soup ever!! UBE SHAKE: get this!! Omg soo good! If you love ube you got to try this! So creamy! Price rating: 7/10. To be honest the price is not bad for the good food. I will definitely come back here and try their other food. Get the beef bulalo and ube shake! ”

“ Wow! Food was so good and staff were so friendly! This is the 3rd time we tried to dine in at a Filipino restaurant in woodside, we didn't get a nice experience at Max last time. Anyway, I love their Kare Kare and husband enjoyed their sinigang, it was flavorful! And of course, you always need to get a halo halo. It was nice meeting the team.. you guys rock! “ Visited Kusina Pinoy Bistro on a Wednesday evening and was pleased to find no wait for a table. We ordered quite a feast, including the Giant Fried Squid, Bulalo, Pompano, Ginataang Kalabasa, and Pork Isaw. To cap it off, we had the Leche Flan for dessert. I was particularly surprised by the generous serving of the Bulalo, which could easily feed a family. Everything arrived at our table piping hot. The ambiance of the restaurant was also quite nice and spacious. For those looking for entertainment, they have karaoke available, and I was told they feature live bands on the weekends. Overall, I highly recommend Kusina Pinoy Bistro to anyone wanting to try authentic Filipino food and get a taste of the culture. ”

From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and always ready to recommend the best dishes on the menu. The food was simply spectacular. We ordered the crispy pata, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with an unbeatable flavor. The pork sisig was another highlight—well-seasoned, with the perfect texture and that touch of citrus and spices that made it irresistible. The name of the appetizer escapes me, but it was amazing. I hate tofu but combined with the fried pork pieces and the light & frest sauce.... "Chef's Kiss!!!" The drinks perfectly complemented the meal, with well-crafted and refreshing options. Without a doubt, this place stands out not only for its authentic Filipino cuisine but also for its welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service. I know that Renee's Kitchenette is famous, but places will be where I'm taking all my friends. Definitely a spot to return to and recommend! ”

“ I experienced the Kamayan feast with some friends and it was AMAZING! Lots of meats/seafood to try and every single piece was delicious...WOW! We also got a chance to catch the karaoke night/live band which was also amazing! Excellent time all around. Highly recommend! ”
